What is Mind, Money, Masters?
In order to master your mind to create money, there must be a complete shift in your mindset. Money can no longer control you, if must become your tool. This can be a simple to understand shift in perspective of how we treat our mind affects our money and that allows us to be Masters of our own destiny or not. This should not be new concept to anyone. Control what you think about and that will give you financial freedom or let your influences control you and never experience the joy of truly living financially free.
Master your Mind, Master your Money
When I first came up with the concept of Mind, Money, Masters there were multiple iterations of the concept, some concepts never made it past the cutting room floor. Which is truly like life, right? We try to come up with ideas and think they are the best and have to be just perfect right out of the gate.
Why do we this?
- Because we think that we can create something amazing right out of the gate?
- Because it would be easier just to have something perfect right away?
- Inherently, we don’t really want to work too hard on it?
- We don’t want to think we can’t do it correctly the first time?
- Maybe because we overthink everything?

Master your Mind to create wealth
We tend to apply quite a bit of pressure on ourselves right away. Do you know many of the entrepreneurs and business people that I have met and read about admit that they usually don’t get it right the first time? More often than not I hear the desperation story where they had fallen so far in life and that they knew the only way to get up was to try over and over again until they got it right? I’m sure you know the story about Thomas Edison, where he tried 10,000 filaments for the light bulb before he got the correct one. What would have happened had he given up after 1,000? 5,000? He had mastered his mind and gained a wealth of knowledge.
Are we afraid of hard work? Most people would say no. However, when push comes to shove, would we rather expand or retreat? I read that Glossophobia or fear of public speaking is one of biggest fears a person can have and that people would rather go skydiving than stand up in front of their own peers and talk about something. Would that also pertain to working hard if working hard required someone to make a speech?
Fear is ultimately what binds us. Fear stops our potential, fear controls our mind, fear controls our money and our thoughts about success. I have also heard that fear can either mean Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise. What are you inherently afraid of? Have you created your best life?
Why Should We Master the Mind?
How powerful is the mind? The idea that we use 10 percent of the brain is a myth. That has been debunked. There is a good article here discussing that. I am not here to debate the use of the mind, but we have heard that positive thinking can change a persons thought process, that a kind word can change a persons day or a belief in something greater can give something to live for. The concept of Mind, Money, Masters is that if you can truly control your mind and your thoughts, that can control your money and its uses, then you become the master of not only your mind and your money but of anything to which you put your mind. The more we know the better we are able to handle anything that may come our way.
Master the Money Mindset
I’m talking here about financial education. Financial Education changes the money mindset to where we think differently about money. Most people robotically answer “King” whenever the question is asked, “Cash is…?” Why is that? The real answer is Cash is trash. Cash is paper. Understanding the use of cash is mastery of the money mindset.
Why Should we Master our Money?
When we understand that cash is only a tool, we can start to use it as such. Do you have a large savings account? Why? What is that money doing for you? Do you have a large investment account, what has that done for you? If you lost your job today and couldn’t work again, what would you do? How would you live? You see when we fixate on Money or Cash as the most important thing to evaluating wealth, we miss the point. Savings accounts and Investment accounts are the tools of the middle class. If something were to happen with inflation or stock market crash, how would you live?
The good news is that there are great opportunities out there. There is everything from making money online to making money flipping houses. Personally I started with making money online.
